Briana pursued higher education at Florida Atlantic University, where she received a scholarship from the McCormick Foundation and had the opportunity to study abroad in Venice, Italy.
She began her broadcast career as a writer for WSVN in South Florida and continued as a Multimedia Journalist at WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she covered a wide range of stories.
After two years, Briana joined the NBC2/ABC7 team as a bureau reporter in Fort Myers, Florida. She was later promoted to the morning team (4 a.m.–12 p.m.) as a Traffic and Breaking News Anchor.
Briana then joined the 9NEWS morning team as a reporter and fill-in traffic anchor. She has earned two Regional Emmy Awards and has reported on diverse stories, including snow events, breaking news, and wildfires.
